Foot and Ankle Surgery

Referrals for all bony and soft tissue foot & ankle problems are welcomed, from sports injuries & fractures through to more long standing problems.

ACC related foot and ankle referrals are also accepted. Assessment and advice regarding foot related complications of diabetes are also welcomed.

Mr Burgess has fellowship training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including but not limited to the following major procedure types.

Hip and Knee Replacement

Referrals for assessment and treatment of degenerative arthritis of the hip and knee are welcomed.

Comprehensive assessment of the condition and its effect on daily quality of life will be offered. Advice regarding recommendations for non-operative treatment options and, if indicated, consideration surgery.

Mr Burgess has completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement surgery for a range of conditions for all ages of patient. He has experience and training in computer navigated total knee replacement.

Paediatric Orthopaedics

Referrals for assessment of common paediatric orthopaedic conditions and foot and ankle problems are welcomed. Clinical assessment combined with treatment recommendations will be made, which may involve both non-surgical and/or surgical treatment.

ACC related referrals also accepted.
